Nazzaro PLLC is a boutique law firm that serves small and growth businesses. This is a hybrid position with an expected commitment of 15-19 hours per week during the school year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer. The law clerk will be responsible for working with the Managing Attorney to support the law firm in preparing legal documents, organizing client matters, developing training materials, and producing educational materials. We are looking for an individual with the eagerness to take on new tasks efficiently, exhibit good writing skills, and pay attention to details. This individual will also develop training materials.
Nazzaro was founded in 2022 and is the perfect place for someone who is interested in being part of an entrepreneurial business. When we work with our clients, we consider their whole business needs, not just the singular transaction. We work with our clients to ensure that we are helping them to drive their business revenue. Our job is to help our clients build a successful business and realize their vision. Clients include small and start-up businesses, from formation to a liquidity event. Responsibilities Include
- Research filing and licensing processes for client matters
- Format, draft, review, and proof legal correspondence, contracts, and documents
- Complete forms and organize information for licensing, formation, and trademark submissions
- Conduct legal research on business legal issues
- Manage routine projects including creating client matter calendar schedules, scheduling client calls, and managing tasks related to transaction deadlines
- Develop training materials for extern, law clerk, and attorney onboarding
- Assist in developing presentation materials
- Draft blog or articles with your byline!
Skills and Experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Technology & Data Analyst Intern to join our team. This part-time position is specifically open to current college or graduate students eligible for the Washington State Work Study program. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in data automation, visualization, and process mapping, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a small business by building foundational technology solutions that will drive efficiency and informed decision-making.
Responsibilities Include:
- Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automation flows using Microsoft Power Automate, including the creation and integration of Microsoft Power Forms for data collection and process initiation.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Create compelling and insightful Power BI dashboards and templates to visualize key performance indicators, operational metrics, and financial data.
- Data Collection & Tracking: Develop and implement reporting tools to effectively track client services, marketing efforts, and other critical business functions. This includes mapping out data collection processes and identifying key data points.
- General Reporting: Generate various reports as needed to support firm operations, strategic planning, and performance analysis.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with firm leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and data analysis.
- Documentation: Document new processes, automation flows, and data structures for future reference and scalability.
Skills and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a college or graduate program and eligible for the Washington State Work Study program
- Proven prior experience in developing automation flows, creating dashboards, and building reporting tools in a professional or academic setting
- Demonstrated experience working with a small business or similar environment where you were responsible for creating data collection tools and mapping out processes
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Microsoft Power Automate (Flow)
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft Power Forms
- Microsoft Excel Power Query, PowerPivot, and data modeling preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with AirTable preferred
- Interest in the legal industry and its technological advancements

You will be working with the Managing Attorney, Associate Attorney, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistant to support the law firm in preparing marketing strategies, creating and managing content, and developing a brand identity for the firm.

This position accrues sick leave in accordance with Washington state statutory requirements, for every forty hours of work, 1 hour of leave is accrued. Pay is on an hourly basis and billable time expectations in line with agreed upon hours.
